THE HISTORY OF PANAKEIA:

Panakeia was developed by Hemp Trading S.L.U. with the Polytechnic University of Valencia in Spain The development of Panakeia was made possible .by inhibiting specific passageways of the biosynthetic route of cannabinoids, thus preventing the formation of THC, the psychoactive component, and increasing the accumulation of CBG, a cannabinoid that until now was only found in vestigial amounts in the plant. That means a double achievement: not only has THC been eliminated, but the concentration of CBG has been increased. This research was conducted by the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV, whom has been conducting research since 2013), one of the entities in Spain which holds a license to cultivate cannabis for scientific purposes. The result is a strain specially developed for medicinal cannabis patients for its therapeutic properties as well as for researchers and pharmaceutical companies interested in exploiting the medicinal properties of cannabis.

GROWING PANAKEIA :

Planting: Region dependent, we suggest late May - June for most areas in the continental USA. Spacing: 3’-5’ depending on planting date. Harvesting: Mid-late September. Caution must be taken when harvesting CBG varietals to prevent trichome loss. Yields: High yielding, up to 4000 lbs/acre. Structure: Indica dominant. Short, stout plant, stacking flower. Potency: Expect 14% CBG, 0.00% THC. Feminization: 99%+ feminized. Disclaimer: In high cannabinoid hemp, hermaphroditism is a possibility- stressing any hemp plants can cause this. Panakeia will exhibit hermaphroditic traits if grown in sub-optimal conditions. This is due to the unique nature of the genetics necessary to create a high CBG, zero THC plant. Careful monitoring and proper farming/husbandry can successfully mitigate these issues. Please remember that all high cannabinoid hemp requires continual monitoring and care. We strongly advise all farmers to walk their fields.
